Coping with Everyday Stress in Different Cultures
The challenge of stress is inevitable for everyone, and in a multicultural environment, this challenge becomes even more complex and enriching. Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence (YCEI) conducts research and offers trainings that support people of all ages in developing emotional intelligence skills. Zhenlan Wang, Postdoctoral Associate at the YCEI, will give a lecture on "Coping with Everyday Stress in Different Cultures" at Yale Center Beijing on November 27. She will share how to localize Western contemporary psychological knowledge and develop a psychological theory system suitable for Chinese culture. This endeavor aims to assist Chinese individuals in better applying emotional intelligence skills to face challenges and establish a healthier and more positive outlook on life.
