About Dr. Zhenlan Wang/Чжэньлань Ван/王振岚

Dr. Zhenlan Wang is a Social and Developmental Psychologist who conducts research through a cultural lens.

She was born in China and finished her undergraduate degree in Social and Pedagogical Psychology in Belarusian State University, Minsk, Republic of Belarus. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology with a focus on culture from The New School for Social Research, New York.

Dr. Wang currently works as a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University’s Center for Emotional Intelligence and is an incoming Assistant Professor at Bryn Mawr College.

Dr. Wang is passionate about cultural activities. In her spare time, she likes to dance ballet and spend time with her cat, Liza.
